In 2011, TLR Landscaping began the way a lot of good local businesses do: one person, one lawn mower, and a willingness to knock on doors. Our founder pushed that mower down the street in Elmira, Ontario, cutting grass for neighbours who liked the work and told their friends.
Those first few customers turned into more, and more turned into a crew, equipment, and a reputation for showing up when we said we would. Over the years, TLR grew steadily into a full-service landscaping business, built on repeat customers and word of mouth rather than flashy promises. Today, that adds up to more than 15 years of experience in the landscape industry.
Growing, then focusing.
As TLR grew, so did our landscape construction work. By 2024 it had become a big enough part of the business that it deserved its own team and its own attention. That year, we created Armours Edge Inc (armoursedge.ca) to handle landscape construction, including hardscaping and larger installation projects.
That move let TLR Landscaping do what it does best: property maintenance. With construction handled by a dedicated team, our maintenance crews can focus on consistent, reliable service for the properties in our care, week after week.
